Entitled "What's Driving the Secondary Market?", the Resale Forum will gather the key industry executives from across the timeshare resale sector to examine the evolution of the secondary market and explore ways to support the development of a healthy resale industry.

The Forum will be discussing issues such as buying power transitioning from the Boomer generation to Generation X and beyond, making traditional marketing techniques less effective as younger holidaymakers use the internet to plan their vacations.

After they arrive at the resort, they are still online researching the resort information, even as they are experiencing the sales presentation. So it shouldn't surprise anyone that ARDA's own research shows, over the last three years, more people have used the secondary market to buy timeshare," Kogelman added.
