Timberspan Wood Product Completes Douglas Fir Contract for Haida Gwaii
Timberspan Wood Products recently completed a contract for the supply of Douglas Fir timbers to be used in bridge construction on Haida Gwaii.
- (1888PressRelease) March 31, 2011 - Timberspan Wood Products recently finished a large production run to supply all the Douglas Fir bridge timbers for the Haida Gwaii (previously known as the Queen Charlotte Islands) This contract supplied the Government of British Columbia with bridge timbers for all road construction bridge projects for the island. Timberspan Wood Products was chosen for this project as the only manufactured of Douglas Fir Timbers in Northern British Columbia. Timberspan Wood Products was able to produce high quality Douglas Fir bridge timbers for this project that measured 8 inches x10 inches x 16 feet.
