Tilted Kilt Sponsors Ben Rothwell in Upcoming UFC Battle
UFC 164 Just Got a Lot Better Looking.
- (1888PressRelease) September 02, 2013 - Chicago - Tilted Kilt, the best looking sports pub you've ever seen, just announced they will be banner and fight short sponsors to up and coming powerhouse UFC fighter, Ben Rothwell, for UFC 164 which hits the airwaves on Saturday, August 31 from Milwaukee.
Rothwell, a Wisconsin native, is an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Heavyweight Division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is perhaps best known for competing in the IFL where he held an undefeated 9-0 record on his way to becoming their first ever Heavyweight Champion. Throughout his career he has competed on the sport's biggest stages, Affliction, M-1 Global, and King of the Cage among many others in his 15 years as a professional.
"Ben is friends with Kenosha Tilted Kilt Pub franchisees owners Mike Roscioli & Chris Gochis and a fighter that all Chicagoland Tilted Kilt franchisees agree that we want to support," said Anthony Baroud, Chicagoland Area Developer of Tilted Kilt. "Since we air all the UFC fights and pack the house at every fight we thought it would be nice to sponsor Ben and add a little Tilted Kilt flare to the televised event."
Baroud added that Rothwell is a guy that shares Titled Kilt's American values and family ideals. It was important for Tilted Kilt to not only find a good fighter to back but also the right kind of fighter that parents and kids alike can look up to and cheer to victory.
Rothwell will be square off with Brandon Vera on the main card of UFC 164, which takes place from BMO Bradley Harris Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Fans are encouraged to visit one of Chicagolands' Tilted Kilts for the fight to enjoy great food, drink and camaraderie.
