Tiger Announces Changes to the Board of Directors
Tiger Resources Limited (ASX/TSX: TGS) is pleased to advise of the appointment of Mr Darryll Castle to the Company's board of directors.
- (1888PressRelease) May 25, 2012 - Mr Deon Garbers has resigned from the Company's board of directors, and is replaced by Mr Castle as a representative of Trafigura Beheer B.V. (Trafigura). Mr Castle is currently Chief Executive Officer of Trafigura's Mining Division and has extensive expertise in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), having previously been Chief Executive Officer of Anvil Mining Limited operating the Kinsevere Mine and Chief Operating Officer of Metorex Limited operating the Ruashi Copper-Cobalt Mine - both in the Katanga Province of the DRC.
Tiger's Chairman, Mr Neil Fearis said "We thank Deon for his contribution to Tiger over the past two years and wish him well in his future endeavours. The Board welcomes Darryll whose experience will strengthen Tiger during its next phase of growth to become a 50,000tpa copper cathode producer in the DRC."
