TiE Tri-State announces Fred Wilson as Keynote Speaker for TiECon Greater New York 2011
Keynotes and others to speak on the "Role of Capital in Entrepreneurship".
- (1888PressRelease) February 25, 2011 - NEW YOR - TiE Tri-State- a non-profit organization of entrepreneurs and related professionals, today announced that Fred Wilson, Co-Founder of Flatiron Partners and Union Square Ventures, will be its keynote speaker for the TiECon Greater New York 2011 conference.
Fred Wilson, a venture capitalist since 1987 and well- respected blogger is considered a leading voice in New York City's venture capital and finance community. Union Square Ventures have made notable investments in companies such as Foursquare and Twitter and have propelled Fred Wilson to unparalleled success within the industry.
Other conference speakers include; Sanjiv Das, President and Chief Executive Officer of CitiMortgage Inc.; Michele Peluso, Global Consumer Chief Marketing and Internet Officer of Citigroup, and David Goldman, Senior Editor of CNBC
This year's conference which will take place at the Princeton Club in New York City on Thursday, March 3, 2011 will focus on "The Role of Capital in Entrepreneurship." The conference will include panels on venture capital, private equity, financial services, cleantech, social and digital media.
Located at the finance capital of the world, the conference will gather over 250 industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and TiE members to discuss the pivotal role of private capital and New York's contribution to corporate growth and job creation.
