27 acclaimed Authors will gather for one night to raise funds and awareness for the Mission K9 Rescue Organization which helps provide support for retired Military Working Dogs.
Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) October 29, 2015 - Former deep cover black operative, Leo J. Maloney, now acclaimed author, will host the first Mission K9 Rescue Tribute Gala featuring Thriller/Mystery Authors, November 14th, at the Four Points by Sheraton in Wakefield, MA. The event will bring together 27 thriller and mystery authors, many New York Times Best Sellers, to help raise critical awareness and funds for retired military and contract working dogs who have so bravely served our country.
The purpose of the Mission K9 Rescue organization is to provide monetary, transportation, adoption, and professional assistance for dogs that have served our country in times of war. The funds to bring the dog's home and care for them properly after their service is widely not provided by the US government or the private contact companies. The organization strives to adopt these dogs out so they can have the life they so greatly deserve after their heroic service.
The K9 Gala's one-of-a-kind evening will feature authors from all over the country, who will "host" a table for the evening's guests. Boston's own radio personality, Candy O'Terry, will serve as our master of ceremonies for the night.
The evening will kick off at 6pm with a cocktail hour before the hotel's' ballroom doors open at 7pm where guests will be treated to a sit down dinner, silent and live auction, and the chance to hear from the founders of the Mission K9 Rescue Organization. The true highlight of the night will be the ability to meet several of the dogs that have been rescued by the organization.
100% of profits will be donated directly back to Mission K9 Rescue
