Thrifty Car Rental Gears Up For Top Travel Industry Award
Thrifty Car Rental has been nominated for National Travel Industry Awards.
- (1888PressRelease) April 08, 2011 - Thrifty Car Rental has been nominated for a top travel industry award - with the winner to be decided by those who work in the industry itself.
Thrifty is in the running for Best Car/Campervan Rental Operator at this year's National Travel Industry Awards, organized by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents.
All Australian travel agents are eligible to vote for the awards and winners will be announced at a ceremony in July.
Thrifty CEO Bryn McGoldrick said: "These awards celebrate all that is great about the Australian travel industry.
"As the only 100% Australian owned international car rental brand, Thrifty is calling on all travel agents to show their support for homegrown businesses by voting for Thrifty to win the Best Car Rental Operator category."

Thrifty scored a significant coup in October 2010 being named as the exclusive car rental partner for Australia's seven motoring clubs (NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAC, AANT, RAA and RACT).

Travel agents have until Thursday 21 April at 5pm to show their support for Thrifty by voting at www.afta.com.au
Nominations are restricted to one per travel agency.
