Thompson Lloyd Baker Announce Appointment for its New Singapore Office
Thompson Lloyd Baker who is due to open their first office in Singapore in August has today announced the appointment of Evan Brookfield to oversee the new regional office.
- (1888PressRelease) January 11, 2017 - Thompson Lloyd Baker 's Oswald Baker - Managing Director & Senior Partner said "We are proud to announce that after 3 months of searching and interviews we have finally found the man to head our operations in Singapore, his name is Evan Brookfield and is set to join us as a Senior Partner in the middle of March".
He went on to say "Evan has a deep knowledge and background within the wealth management, 'High Net Worth' (HNW) and 'Ultra High Net Worth' (UHNW) arena and we are exceptionally pleased to have him on board".
Mr Baker also said "We are committed to open the new office in August 2017 and Evan has been tasked to ensure we are on track, his responsibilities will include staffing the entire office as we believe the philosophy and culture we nurture means he needs to build his own team from the top down to ensure a team ethic runs throughout the staff".
As Asia's millionaire population increases - at 3.1m people it's already overtaken that of Europe - Wealth Management firms and Private Banks are now focusing much of the expansion on the regional wealth hubs of Hong Kong and Singapore and Mr. Baker believes without a presence in Singapore they could potentially get left behind.
