Laura Whitmore, leaves her favorite Thomas Sabo Jewels behind and heads to the Austrailian Jungle.
- (1888PressRelease) November 12, 2011 - With Christmas around the corner, TV schedules are gearing up for their biggest rating shows of the year.
One returning favourite this year will be ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here' which debuts its new series on Sunday evening (13th November).
Also returning will be the popular ITV2 spin-off from the reality series 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now!' The series takes a fun look at the jungle action.
This year will see new host and Thomas Sabo Jewellery fan Laura Whitmore join the presenting team.
The new host will take her place alongside comedian Russell Kane and former winner of the series 'King of the Jungle' Joe Swash.
Whitmore has previously hosted programmes for ITV2, notably last year's Teenager Cancer Trust concert series.
The 26-year-old has also taken part in a number of competitions herself.
She fended off 3,000 other applicants to win a highly coveted MTV presenter job. Although it probably helped that, she has a journalism degree from Dublin City University.
The former MTV presenter and FHM cover girl and Thomas Sabo jewellery fan will co-host the spin off show and interview past contestants as well as talking to the contestants as they are ejected from the jungle camp. The Irish blonde and Thomas Sabo jewellery fan cites talk show behemoth Jonathan Ross and Big Brother presenter Davina McCall as her role models.
This season, celebrities checking in for a spell in the jungle camp include soap stars Antony Cotton and Lorraine Chase, former boy band bass player Dougie Poynter, Actresses Stefanie Powers and Crissy Rock and sporting stars Fatima Whitbread and Willie Carson. They will be joined by comedian Freddie Star, Real Hustle confidence trickster and former model Jessica-Jane Clement and star of reality programme 'The Only Way is Essex', Mark Wright.
