LOST recapper Vozzek is proud to announce the launch of his new book, Things You Never Noticed About LOST.
(1888PressRelease) January 02, 2010 - For the past several years, Danny McAleese, also known by the handle Vozzek69, has been writing recaps and commentary on the television show LOST. During the summer hiatus, Vozzek has put together a detailed compilation of the greatest thoughts, theories, and perceptions on LOST gathered over the past five seasons of the show. Aimed at LOST's more diehard fan base, the 250+ page paperback book comes just weeks before the premier of LOST's sixth and final season.
First airing in September of 2004, the television show LOST became an overwhelming hit and instant cult phenomenon on ABC. Due to the complexity of the show, in the last five years LOST has gathered a fan base of dedicated viewers and hardcore analysts struggling to piece together the intricate puzzle cleverly offered by the writers and executive producers. LOST has traditionally offered fast-paced, jaw-dropping mysteries with very few answers... but with the show's storyline finally coming to a thrilling climax, those answers have finally been coming.
"The book is definitely geared toward the more serious LOST fan", says Vozzek. "If you've never watched the show, you'll need to get the DVD's and catch yourself up before reading Things You Never Noticed About LOST."
That being said, Vozzek claims that any diehard LOST viewer reading the book will be richly rewarded. "This isn't your standard play-by-play book on LOST. It doesn't go episode by episode, or character by character. It analyzes whole themes, ideas, and concepts - the really strange island events that makes the show so great. Using concrete examples from over a hundred past episodes, it points out the intricate and sometimes crazy things that the more casual viewer would often miss."
Mysterious and compelling storytelling explains why LOST has not only endured this far, but actually thrived. "Instead of running out of ideas, the story keeps getting better and better", Vozzek reasons. "People watching LOST for the answers are finally getting what they've always wanted. The book is called 'Past Perceptions and Future Theories' because it doesn't only explore what's happened on the island so far, it also dives into the much harder question of why."
