(1888PressRelease) September 24, 2012 - Presspahn www.pressphan.com would like to announce the benefits and usage of PEEK (Polyetheretherketone), The product is an organic polymer thermoplastic that is used for its robust mechanical properties sustained even at elevated temperatures (Up to 300°C), often used in bearings, piston parts, pumps but also suitable for very high vacuum, medical implants and UK and US food processing applications.

Its main features combined with excellent sterilisability make PEEK very popular in medical, pharmaceutical and food processing industries.

PEEK's properties allow it to be CNC Turned or CNC milled to precise specifications, all of which can be done in house at Presspahn.
