Them Howling Bones To Release Latin Mix
Los Angeles-based blues-rock band, Them Howling Bones, announces plans to release a Latin version of its self-titled debut album.
- (1888PressRelease) May 07, 2015 - Los Angeles, CA - Local band Them Howling Bones is known for taking rock back to its roots by performing old-fashioned music that inspires fans to dance in their chairs. In an effort to bring its unique blend of substance and style to a wider audience, Them Howling Bones will soon be releasing a Latin version of its self-titled debut EP.
"We're stoked about this new Latin mix and the upcoming vinyl," said bandmember, Mitch Micoley. "We can't wait to see what the future holds for us."
Along with Lopez, Them Howling Bones features guitarist Mitch Micoley, vocalist Pedro Torres, and Collin Kleinman on drums. The Los Angeles-based rockers draw influence from a variety of sources, including classic rock trendsetters like The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and Cream as well as traditional blues musicians such as Clapton and King. The band's debut EP, called Them Howling Bands, features six alternative rock hits including tracks Left for Dead and Let a Cold Man Die.
In addition to recording the new Latin mix, Them Howling Bones has plans to release a vinyl album featuring two of the biggest alt-rock hits from its debut. Barry Conley, who is best known for his work with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, will be engineering the music. The band's stated goals are to "move people, write great songs, make the audience dance and go crazy, and know our lyrics and songs."
