The Yard House to Open at The Collection at RiverPark on July 11
Set to a classic rock soundtrack in a lively environment, The Yard House offers an award-winning and extensive menu.
- (1888PressRelease) July 03, 2013 - Just in time for summer, The Yard House, the upscale-casual destination known for its great food and a dizzying array of craft and specialty beers, is opening at The Collection at RiverPark July 11, the retail center's newest addition to its ever expanding list of top-notch dining options.
Set to a classic rock soundtrack in a lively environment, The Yard House offers an award-winning and extensive menu of American fusion cuisine featuring appetizers, salads, pastas, sandwiches, street tacos, grilled burgers, individual-size pizzas, seafood, steaks and ribs - and more than 130 taps of beer.
Beginning with the December 1996 opening of its flagship location along the waterfront in Long Beach, The Yard House chain has grown to multiple locations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Nevada, New York, Virginia and Texas.
Hungry visitors to The Collection at RiverPark will also have another tasty option to consider as Gen Korean BBQ, known for its high-quality, all-you-can-eat cuisine, opened last month.
"With the opening of The Yard House and Gen Korean, the menu of offerings at The Collection is expanding quickly," said Peter Houck, General Manager at The Collection. "Add to these, Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana, which opens later this summer, and Famous Dave's and Toby Keith's I Love This Bar and Grill, which open in the fall, The Collection is the hot place for food in the West Ventura County area."
The Yard House and Gen Korean BBQ will join the already open Kabuki Japanese Restaurant providing two new options for sit-down dining. Also open on the faster food front is Panera Bread, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Gandolfo's New York Deli, Starbucks Coffee, and Menchie's Frozen Yogurt.
The mouth-watering openings of The Yard House and Gen Korean come on the heels of the June 19 opening of Whole Foods Market Oxnard, one of the open-air specialty center's anchors that brings locally grown, healthy and natural food to the communities of West Ventura County. Whole Foods Market joins anchors Target, a 16-screen Century Theatres, the recently opened REI, and H&M, slated to open later this year.
At 650,000 square feet, The Collection at RiverPark is rapidly taking shape alongside Highway 101 between the Vineyard and Oxnard exits. In addition to a host of specialty retailers and restaurants, the center will also incorporate 60,000 square feet of unique office space above the retail on the main street as well as an extensive public art program and LEED certification.
