The World Pet Association Promotes Responsible Pet Care through America's Family Pet Expo
Businesses and Organizations in the Pet Industry Come Together to bring Animal Interaction and Education to Pierce County Residents through a Three-Day, Family-Friendly Event.
- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) July 07, 2011 - The World Pet Association, an organization dedicated to promoting responsible pet care worldwide, will be bringing the 1st Annual America's Family Pet Expo to Pierce County this weekend for a three-day event designed to educate the public on the benefits of companion pets and the importance of proper pet care.
America's Family Pet Expo will take place this Friday, July 8th, Saturday, July 9th and Sunday, July 10th at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center in Puyallup, Wash. in an effort to engage audiences of all ages in the enriching and enlightening world of companion animals. Through animal performances, stage shows, informative seminars, and opportunities to interact with almost every kind of companion animal, the World Pet Association hopes to provide educational fun to current and future generations of animal lovers and animal owners.
By partnering with national and local manufacturers, retailers, groomers, veterinarians, hobbyist groups, breeders, animal entertainers and adoption agencies and rescues, America's Family Pet Expo will provide a wealth of knowledge on the unique traits and behaviors of various pets as well as the proper steps that should be taken to ensure each pet is a happy and healthy pet.
While educational in nature, America's Family Pet Expo has a full schedule of animal entertainment for all ages to enjoy. The spectacular exhibits, demonstrations, hand's on pet interaction, and entertainment all showcase what fun happy pets can be.
Attractions include:
~ The Aquatic Experience - Come see a display of large tanks filled with a variety of saltwater and freshwater fish and plants from around the world.
~ JUMP! The Ultimate Dog Show - Watch in awe as dogs perform in an exciting, action-packed show featuring incredible stunts choreographed to upbeat music.
~ Walk Through Aviary - Enjoy seeing the birds playing and perching in a habitat you can enter, feed them treats, and learn about what is recommended in cages or aviaries.
~ Miniature Horse Demonstrations - Observe these marvelous minis as they exhibit jumping, obstacle, ground driving obstacle and freestyle dance and much more.

The Puyallup Fair & Events Center is located at 110 9th Avenue SW in Puyallup, Wash. Event hours are Fri. 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sat. 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sun. 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
