The Wine Feed and RailHawk Amir Lowery Celebrate Movember and Art this First Friday
Local Wine Retailer to Premiere Lowery's First Art Exhibit, Proceeds Support Men's Health.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) October 25, 2012 - On First Friday, Nov. 2, The Wine Feed will host an artistic and charitable wine tasting event as they welcome Carolina RailHawk, Amir Lowery's first exhibition, 'An Exhibit for Us'. In conjunction with the exhibit, The Wine Feed and Amir will donate a percentage of sales to Movember, a movement dedicated to changing the face of men's health.
An athlete by day, Lowery exhibits a passion for art and photography as a self-taught local artist who often uses mixed media and unique window frames to display photos. His first collection, 'An Exhibit for Us' reflects Lowrey's desire to push limits, reach higher and always make the most of means available.
Taking place at The Wine Feed's Downtown Raleigh event space at 18 Glenwood Ave., the evening will include eight wines for tasting, along with beer, games and a raffle drawing. Gift cards, prizes and Railhawks gear will be up for grabs, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Movember.
Movember represents a movement to grow moustaches on thousands of men's faces, in the US and around the world, to promote men's health awareness and initiatives. Through their actions, participants help raise awareness and funds by prompting private and public conversation around men's health issues.
