The Waters Edge Cinema Presents "Science On Screen," A Four-Day mini Festival April 19-April 22
Featuring New and Old Films About Nature and Ecology With Appearances By Special Guest Speakers At Each Screening.
- Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) April 09, 2013 - The Waters Edge Cinema will present "SCIENCE ON SCREEN," a four-day mini-festival that runs from April 19th through April 22nd (Earth Day), 2013, featuring new films (FUTURE WEATHER; CHASING ICE; TRASHED) and old (the 1956 classic MOBY DICK) about nature and ecology, screened digitally in the Cinema's renovated home, 237 Commercial St., 2nd floor.
This Coolidge Corner Theatre Initiative is presented by the Provincetown Film Society in partnership with the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies, Appearances: Provincetown Green Arts Festival, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and the Sage Inn & Lounge; and was made possible by major support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
Admission to the festival can be purchased as a festival pass for $40 (for all six screenings) or as individual tickets of $10 each ($8 for seniors and members of PFS, PCCS, and Coolidge; $6 for students).
