A special rally is being hosted to drum up support and register walkers for the following weekends 23rd Annual Thad and Alice Eure Walk for Hope. Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram invites the entire community to visit the dealership to help support their efforts to make this year's Walk for Hope the best yet. Every person that donates at the rally will receive 500 dollars in Westgate bucks as a thank you! Please come rally support with Westgate and the onsite Walk for Hope team.

At this special event not only will you find free food from Papa John's and free drinks, but also a special registration area where walkers can sign up. Additionally, Walk for Hope raffle tickets are being sold to win lots of great prizes from Best Buy, Patio Pro and the 42nd Street Oyster Bar. All proceeds benefit Walk for Hope!

With many activities planned, Westgate expects this lively event to be fun and enjoyable for the entire family. Papa John's Pizza at Little Brier Creek Ln. has graciously donated the food for the special event. Drinks provided Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.

The Foundation of Hope for Research and Treatment of Mental Illness was established in 1984 by the late Thad and Alice Eures commitment to fund research for mental illness. The Foundation of Hope is a non-profit philanthropic organization dedicated to funding breakthroughs in the treatment of mental illness.

After Thad Eure's death in 1988, his employees of the Angus Barn, Fat Daddy's Restaurant and 42nd Street Oyster Bar decided to honor his memory by raising money for the Foundation of Hope. They called their fund raising event The Thad Eure, Jr. Walk for Hope. Those employees never dreamed that the event would be so successful that it would become an annual community event and the Foundation's biggest fund-raiser. The Walk for Hope is the country's oldest annual community walk raising funds for research and treatment of mental illness.
