  • (1888PressRelease) September 05, 2017 - New York, New York - On Sept. 1st the Universal Hip Hop Museum (UHHM) proudly releases the second single from the “16 Bars for Hip Hop” album; an anthem for our times entitled “Change The World.” This anthem is a call to action for the Hip Hop community worldwide featuring sons of Hip Hop legends, Lil Eazy E, Chris Rivers, Young Dirty Bastard and Young Dane and is produced by Chip Fu and Mr. Speed.

Hip Hop has always shined a light on the community and its concerns. It has given a unique voice to those who have traditionally felt marginalized and disenfranchised. In an effort to address the poverty, social injustice and gun violence that are persistent issues in Hip Hop and in communities of color worldwide, the social impact of “Change The World” and its timely message is critically needed right now.

Download “Change The World” from iTunes, Microsoft Groove and Spotify. The UHHM will offer the song at a low price point of $.99 and will be donating $.25 of each sale to a global fund to address gun violence and to show everyone how Hip Hop can be used again to bring about change in our communities at the grassroots level.

This release of this single also serves as the springboard for UHHM’s international social impact initiative, Generation Hip Hop led by Ndaba Mandela, grandson of Nelson Mandela. Generation Hip Hop will have its official launch in 2018 celebrating the centennial of Nelson Mandela’s birth in support of Global Hip Hop Day.

Ultimately, the UHHM will offer every Hip Hop artist an opportunity to spit a verse over this track to support this global endeavor. So stay tuned and stay woke and donate to the UHHM today because its time to “Change The World.” Visit www.uhhm.org Follow Us on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
