The United Nations will test nuclear power stations
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), organization under the United Nations, will test the security at world nuclear power plants over the next three years to prevent catastrophes such as occurred in Japan.

Currently 29 countries have a nuclear power stations, with a 440 active nuclear reactors. The IAEA wants the tests involve a decisive step towards the reinforcement and strengthening of nuclear safety. These tests appraise whether the nuclear power stations are sufficiently prepared to overcome natural disasters, serious problems and human origin issues.
However, many countries have announced that they will abandon nuclear energy, such as Germany and Switzerland, which have announced its nuclear power blackout in 2022 and 2034.
