The Triangle Golf Challenge Tees Off Eleventh Year
The Triangle Golf Challenge will host its eleventh annual event June 12 - June 13, 2014 at Hayti Heritage Center and Duke University Golf Course.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) May 20, 2014 - The Triangle Golf Challenge, a tax-exempt organization that benefits local Triangle charities, has announced their eleventh annual charity golf tournament will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Duke University Golf Course in Durham, NC. Amateur golfers of all skill levels are invited to compete in a two-person scramble format.
The events will kick off Thursday evening, June 12, with a reception including a live and silent auction, followed by a concert featuring one of the finest jazz trumpeters in the industry, Tom Browne. The reception will be held at the Hayti Heritage Center located in Durham. Guests of the events will have the chance to mix and mingle with celebrity hosts Walter Davis, Levelle Moton, Phil Ford and David Cutcliffe. Previous years celebrity attendees included Jerry Stackhouse, James Worthy and Rod Broadway.
Proceeds from the events will benefit The Banks Foundation, Communities In Schools of Durham, and the Hayti Heritage Center.
