The Thorobreds Announce Their Head Coach

The Thorobreds have announced that Dan Williamson will be the team’s first-ever head coach. Williamson is a well-known coach within the Burlington community, as he has spent 17 years at the local Doane Academy. He has had a winning season every year while at Doane Academy, and he is known for turning new programs into winners which is exactly what the Thorobreds are looking for. Williamson wants to give back to the Burlington community and truly believes in the Thorobred values, which revolve around the community aspect.
The Thorobreds have finalized the roster of 12 players The team’s two captains are Nadder Johnson and Jay McFadden. Nadir Johnson attended all tryouts and showed leadership skills, which caught team owner Rashauna Johnson’s eyes. Jay McFadden attended the second tryout and with his Air Force background showed leadership as well.
