The Tax Club's Own Hunter Haas, Takes the Crown at the Boise Open
Hunter Haas takes the crown in this years Boise Open. This marks Haas' 2nd Nationwide Tour win this year.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 24, 2010 - Hunter Haas placed 1st in this year's Albertson's Boise Open at the Hillcrest Country Club in Boise. Haas, a PGA Nationwide Tour professional golfer, has taken his second Nationwide Tour win this year, and fourth overall for his entire career. Haas is sponsored by the New York based financial services firm, The Tax Club, who also sponsors fellow Nationwide Tour and PGA Tour members Troy Merritt and Brian Gay.
Haas won the Boise Open by closing with a 7-under 64 to beat out Daniel Summerhays by one stroke. This win marks the second Nationwide Tour win for Haas, who beat out Jamie Lovemark, Jason Shultz, and Jonas Blixt in the Price Cutter Championship Tour in Missouri.
Similar to last month's championship, Haas took to his Twitter account to thank his friends, supporters, and fans. While mentioning Haas' sponsored firm The Tax Club, Haas Tweeted "…thanks for the support. Pretty good feeling with this victory in Boise Idaho." Among the individuals mentioned in the Tweet, were again high level executives at The Tax Club, who have shown their support as well.
