The Silver Comet Hits The Studio To Record New Material
Fresh off the 2012 Vans Warped Tour, Atlanta-based soul-infused alternative rock band, The Silver Comet, hits the studio to record two new singles.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) December 05, 2012 - Atlanta-based soul-infused alternative rock band, The Silver Comet, is back in the studio to record two new singles. Though not officially part of a new project, the band hopes to return to the studio in late summer or early fall to complete a full length album.
"Now a complete full year after the last full release, we're hoping to show a more edgy, progressive and mature side of the band that has been cultivated over the last year," said Parry Kitt, the bands front man.
The Silver Comet has recently released an Acoustic EP, which features two original songs and two cover songs. In support of the Acoustic EP and the new singles, the band is scheduled to play the annual Atlanta Peach Drop New Years Eve Festival, which draws on average 10,000 people.
