- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 09, 2010 - NYCT in collaboration with NYU-SCPS is pleased to offer its second annual workshop to Circle members and others in the language industry profession.
The Second Susana Greiss Annual Workshop takes place Saturday, October 2 and Sunday, October 3, 2010, at the Woolworth Building, 15 Barclay St. in New York City, New York. The 2-day seminar will provide state-of-the art information on topics related to interpreting, translation, management accounting for freelancers, and the impact of the internet on the mediums via which translation is conducted.

A New York State not-for-profit corporation with several hundred members, NYCT is a chapter of the American Translators Association (ATA) which is, in turn, an affiliate of the International Federation of Translators (FIT). NYU-SCPS offers professional certificates in general translation, medical interpreting, court interpreting (Spanish/English), simultaneous interpreting, and general language studies certificates in Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and language groups such as Slavic, East Asian, Middle Eastern, Scandinavian, and Classical languages.
