The Scientology Information Center Holds its First Open House For 2019 on January 25th
On Friday, January 25th the Scientology Information Center will host its first open house reception of 2019 during the Blast Friday Concert in Downtown Clearwater. Guests can find out about Scientology and learn about the history of the century-old icon, the Clearwater Building, which houses the Center.

For those looking for answers to questions about Scientology, the Center provides visitors with interactive displays and information panels about Scientology’s beliefs, Churches around the world, social betterment programs the Church supports and the Founder of Scientology – Mr. L. Ron Hubbard.
“Curious visitors have learned what Scientologists believe, that the Church is an all-denominational religion and how Scientology offers practical tools that anyone can use in their lives to better understand the mind, spirit and life,” said Amber Skjelset, Manager of the Scientology Information Center.
History and architecture buffs can learn about the Clearwater Building’s history, built in 1918, originally as the Bank of Clearwater. The historic features of the building include 30-foot ceilings with intricate dentil molding, 100 year-old marble floor, as well as other fascinating features.
Before leaving for the night, guests can chose from a number of complimentary educational materials to take with them.

The Scientology Information Center:
The Scientology Information Center, located in the Historic Clearwater Building in downtown Clearwater, opened on July 11, 2015, and currently houses a gallery of audiovisual displays with some 400 videos. The Center is open to all and provides a self-guided tour showing basic Scientology beliefs, Churches around the world, ongoing social programs and the life of L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology’s founder. The Center offers tours to the broad public and civic leaders; holds concerts, theatrical performances and receptions for the community; and opens up the use of its conference room to social, civic and non-profit groups.
