The Royal Festival Of The Horse Will Have Families Giddying Up Says Ranch Rider
Ranch Rider will be exhibiting at the Royal Festival of the Horse (stand number: 133), the new three-day show making its debut on 09 July at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
- (1888PressRelease) July 06, 2010 - Anyone with a passion for riding will undoubtedly be a fan of the Badminton Horse Trials, but this summer sees the introduction of a new three-day show: the Royal Festival of the Horse making its debut on 09 July at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. Ranch Rider will also be making an appearance, the specialist tour operator's portfolio covering North America, Argentina and Africa.
A fun day out for all the family, the programme features dressage, show jumping and eventing; prices starting from £20 (per adult) to £50 for two adults and two children aged 5-15 years.
Highlights in the main arena include, a master dressage class with Edward Gal, young eventing and show jumping with some of Britain's best riders; Robert Smith, Ellen Whittaker and David Quigley competing for a 45,000 prize. Horsemanship will also be a central component of the event, the "Parelli Pavilion" showcasing gala performances.
According to Tony Daly, Managing Director at Ranch Rider: "Horsemanship is at the heart of many riding holidays, the most notable homestead being the Lonesome Spur ranch in Montana: the backdrop to Nicholas Evans' bestseller. Normally an adult oriented activity, the Arizona based White Stallion has taken a unique approach to the discipline in 2010, the owners offering "Summer Family Horsemanship Camps," in July and August."
Heavy Horse parades, scurry driving, equestrian vaulting, and a musical ride competition from current Pony Club members will also bring the art of equestrianism to life; the UK Polocrosse team adding a touch of glitz to the festival.
A popular game at the Triple B in South Africa, guests of Ranch Rider can saddle up for a polocrosse tournament in the Rainbow Nation, the working cattle ranch including the game in their list of weekly pursuits.
