The Roasterie Announces Seventh Semifinalist for 20th Anniversary Photo Contest
Local air-roasted coffee company The Roasterie announces the seventh semifinalist for The Roasterie Adventure photo contest.
- Kansas City, MO-KS (1888PressRelease) March 20, 2013 - In honor of its 20th anniversary, Kansas City air-roasted coffee company The Roasterie has launched The Roasterie Adventure, a photo contest in which participants are entered to win trip for two for coffee bean-picking in Costa Rica and has announced the contest's seventh semifinalist out of fourteen.
The Roasterie Adventure asks participants to submit a photo that portrays the Roasterie brand in day-to-day life (through the Roasterie name, logo, product, café, factory or other representation). After submitting, participants must encourage their friends, family members and loved ones to publically vote for their photo. The fourteen photos with the most votes (plus an extra winner from The Roasterie's recent Mug Shot Photo Contest) will advance to the semifinal round. A final winner will be selected by The Roasterie staff, including Bean Baron Danny O'Neill, in July of 2013.
Every two weeks, one semifinalist is selected by online popular vote. And now, The Roasterie Adventure is thrilled to announce its seventh Roasterie Adventure semifinalist, Lara Carlson of Alma, Arkansas.
Lara's photo depicts her 21-year-old daughter, Kristen, on the wing on a DC3 airplane, drinking her favorite Roasterie coffee. Lara's daughter has had her pilot license for about one year and was instructed by her father, a pilot himself. After visiting Kansas City, Lara and her family could not help but fall in love with The Roasterie brand. The family learned all about The Roasterie DC3 and even purchased coffee and a lunchbox online. Ever since, the Carlson family has been hooked on Roasterie coffee.
Lara is now entered to win a bean-picking trip to Costa Rica, which she would love to share with her daughter.
"This would be a great opportunity to add to Kristen's life adventures," said Lara. "It would be a great mother/daughter trip. Kristen is very interested in coffee and I want her to follow her passion for it."
Lara will join the following Roasterie Adventure semifinalists for the chance to win a bean-picking adventure in Costa Rica and other great prizes:
- Jason Ebberts of Overland Park, Kansas
- Jaime Sheickert of Prairie Village, Kansas
- Mandi Anderson of Lenexa, Kansas
- Amanda Loftin of Shawnee, Kansas
- Holly Urkevich of Kansas City, Missouri
