The Roasterie Announces Eighth Semifinalist for 20th Anniversary Photo Contest
Local air-roasted coffee company The Roasterie announces the eighth semifinalist for The Roasterie Adventure photo contest.
- Kansas City, MO-KS (1888PressRelease) April 03, 2013 - In honor of its 20th anniversary, Kansas City air-roasted coffee company The Roasterie has launched The Roasterie Adventure, a photo contest in which participants are entered to win trip for two for coffee bean-picking in Costa Rica and has announced the contest's seventh semifinalist out of fourteen.
The Roasterie Adventure asks participants to submit a photo that portrays the Roasterie brand in day-to-day life (through the Roasterie name, logo, product, café, factory or other representation). After submitting, participants must encourage their friends, family members and loved ones to publically vote for their photo. The fourteen photos with the most votes (plus an extra winner from The Roasterie's recent Mug Shot Photo Contest) will advance to the semifinal round. A final winner will be selected by The Roasterie staff, including Bean Baron Danny O'Neill, in July of 2013.
Every two weeks, one semifinalist is selected by online popular vote. And now, The Roasterie Adventure is thrilled to announce its eighth Roasterie Adventure semifinalist, Lisa Finholm of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Recently, Lisa moved from Kansas City to chilly Milwaukee, Wisconsin for her job. Although she misses "camping out" to work weekends at both the Leawood and Brookside Roasterie locations, this photo proves that Roasterie products can truly be enjoyed anywhere-even in snowy Milwaukee.
Lisa is now entered to win a bean-picking trip to Costa Rica, which she would love to share with her father.
"If I win the trip to Costa Rica, I would take my father with me," she explains. "He has always encouraged my photography. I think he and I would make a very much experience out of it."
Lisa will join the following Roasterie Adventure semifinalists for the chance to win a bean-picking adventure in Costa Rica and other great prizes:
- Lara Carlson of Alma, Arkansas
- Jason Ebberts of Overland Park, Kansas
- Jaime Sheickert of Prairie Village, Kansas
- Mandi Anderson of Lenexa, Kansas
- Amanda Loftin of Shawnee, Kansas
- Holly Urkevich of Kansas City, Missouri
- Sara Danner of Raytown, Missouri
The Roasterie Adventure will run from January 1, 2013 until June 30, 2013. Roasterie advocates and coffee fanatics everywhere are encouraged to upload their favorite Roasterie photos at TheRoasterieAdventure.com. Additionally, individuals are encouraged to participate by voting on their favorite photos at www.theroasterieadventure.com.
