The Research Focus at ENTER 2014
At ENTER 2014 Conference, taking place between the 21st and 24st January, 2014 in Dublin, one of the three main streams of the conference will be the 'research track' where academics will discuss a number of cutting-edge topics related to the conference's main theme 'Where Social Inspiration meets Dynamic eTourism Innovation'.
- (1888PressRelease) October 11, 2013 - The ENTER 2014 Conference, taking place between the 21st and 24st January, 2014 in Dublin, Ireland offers a worldwide and unique forum for attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations to actively exchange, share, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on the application of information and communication technologies to travel and tourism. One of the three main streams of the conference will be the 'research track' where academics will discuss a number of cutting-edge topics related to the conference's main theme 'Where Social Inspiration meets Dynamic eTourism Innovation'.
ENTER 2014, which is organised by the International Federation for Information Technologies in Travel and Tourism (IFITT), brings together the research community and the industry by which it follows IFITT's mission to network eTourism stakeholders and nurture eTourism innovation, exploration and knowledge. The research track will comprise 18 focused research topics that will be discussed in moderated sessions. These sessions will focus on a number of issues such, as 'User Tracking and Modelling', 'Search and Information Use' and 'Mobile Tourism'. IFITT believes that the support for researchers and professionals is essential to progress the eTourism field and that a dynamic dialogue among tourism organisations, technology providers and academia can bring solutions. Therefore, the research track follows IFITT's objectives to encourage excellence in the research, development and implementation of tourism technologies and to enhance the quality of research publications in relevant journals, books and other outlets.
