The Relaunch of Watches 2U
Watches 2u part of Watches 2U International Limited has decided to relaunch their flagship website under a new domain name.
- (1888PressRelease) January 18, 2011 - Watches 2u has relaunched their flagship website which previously sold brand name watches from the domain name www.watchesshop.com but as of the 12th January 2011 they have moved all their online retail watch sales to a new site at http://www.watches2u.com
Whilst the domain name Watches2u.com was in previous use and still under ownership by the company, the management felt that because the current domain name WatchesShop.com was often misspelt and easily confused with competitors websites with similar names that they should resurrect the old domain name as this would alleviate these issues.
Managing Director Danny Toffel stated "Whilst we have had great success with Watches Shop we felt that customers often misspelt our domain name and easily confused us with other websites with very similar domain names and that by keeping the current domain name we would never be able to resolve these issues fully. We felt that our previous domain name Watches2u.com did not have any such issues in the past and we also felt that this domain name had a stronger company identity and that the name was easier to remember for our customers. This change in no way effects our operation other than a simple domain name change. All customers who have purchased products from Watches Shop will not have any problems at all and all current valid discount codes previously released for Watches Shop will still be fully redeemable on Watches 2U, as will all VIP points."
Watches 2U International have had a growing online presence since they first began selling watches online in 2003. Since then they have expanded into selling more than 60 brands and have recently added 9 new brands - Boccia, Firetrap, Oasis, Morgan, Fly53, Bulova, TechnoMarine, Giordano and Dilligaf watches to their every growing portfolio and will also soon be adding Hot Diamonds and Maurice Lacroix watches within the next few weeks to their online store which is available at the new website address - http://www.watches2u.com
