The Recording Academy Continues its Legacy with Addition of School of Rock CEO
Chris Catalano Elected to Board of Governors to Represent the Chicago Music Community.

Catalano has established himself as a leading advisor in the music industry, serving as CEO of School of Rock since July 2010 and Chairman of the Board since June 2009. His passion and commitment to inspire musicians around the nation has helped to establish the franchise as the most prolific educator of young aspiring musicians and the national leader in performance-based music education.
In Catalano's new role, he will support and work with the Chicago music community to help raise awareness about the importance of music education in the development of the next generation of artists and leaders. Catalano's approach of instilling teamwork and self-confidence in musicians through performance-based music education is consistent with The Recording Academy's mission, to positively impact the lives of musicians, industry members and society at large.
