The Peninsula Beijing To Offer Wireless Internet Access In Its Luxury Limousine Fleet
To provide guests with seamless Internet access even before arrival at the hotel, The Peninsula Beijing will shortly launch complimentary WiFi access in its BMW and Rolls-Royce limousines.
- (1888PressRelease) May 28, 2011 - The Peninsula Beijing will shortly launch complimentary WiFi access in its bespoke Rolls-Royce and BMW limousines to provide guests with seamless Internet access even before arrival at the hotel.
The hotel's private fleet of luxury limousines includes two bespoke extended-wheelbase Rolls-Royces, 10 BMW 750Li long-wheelbase models and two Mercedes-Benz Vianos, all finished in the signature Peninsula Brewster Green.
The new service introduced by the hotel will enable travellers to enjoy complimentary wireless broadband Internet connectivity at all times while travelling with the fleet, whether it be to and from the Beijing International Airport or within the city. Most of the cars also come complete with an iPad in case guests are not travelling with one. Guests who use wireless connectivity in The Peninsula Beijing's vehicles do not need data cards or special software as the system automatically detects the available wireless Internet device. The connectivity is compatible with all wireless-enabled devices, including laptops, mobile telephones and PDAs.
The hotel offers complimentary wireless connectivity in all Peninsula limousines, as well as wired and wireless connectivity in all guestrooms and suites.
