The Passion Kings Rule With the Release of Album "Just Press Play"
If some kings rule with an iron fist, The Passion Kings rule with a pounding fist of rock music.
- (1888PressRelease) May 29, 2011 - Musicians these days are not just performing live. Analog is great, nothing beats old-school, but we're in the world of digital now so what's wrong with jumping in?
The Passion Kings is an all-out rock group from the San Francisco Bay Area. They continuously blend indie, classic, and avant-garde in their sound - add to that, they've gone digital! Aside from live gigs in clubs and venues, they've also gone cutting edge by doing live online concerts. The Passion Kings regularly do live streaming of their performances via the Internet, specifically on the popular virtual world Second Life! Amazing doesn't even begin to describe it.
The Passion Kings is fronted by Robert Keller, responsible for vocals, guitar, and songwriting. He has a background in jazz, classical, punk, and electronica, and he has successfully fused this with rock 'n' roll. And if you didn't know, the passionate musician that he is, Robert owns an online radio station - Radiork.com:8000/listen - where you can hear him, his music, and his musician friends performing their original songs. He is also an audio engineer and photographer. As a musician, he has played with Greg Khin, Todd Rundgren, De Vinals, Level 42, Book of Love, and Bow Wow Wow just to name a few.
The rest of The Passion Kings are: Ralph Nastari Vito (bass) who plays funk and Latin music, John Lo Giudici (guitar) and like Robert, a jazz and rock musician who also teaches guitar, and Ricki Pahili (drums/percussions), considered best gift of the band could hope for. Ricki's experience and versatility on both the drums and percussions keep the tempo of The Passion Kings' awesome-sounding music.
