  • Nashville, TN (1888PressRelease) January 07, 2011 - While L. Ron Hubbard is best known as the founder of the Scientology religion, he is also one of the country's most popular fiction writers, publishing hundreds of works over a career that spanned more than five decades. Authoring everything from science fiction to romance, action and fantasy to adventure, his name-and pen names-became synonymous with good reading.

One of his popular Westerns was "The Ghost Town Gun-Ghost", about an old cowpoke living in a ghost town who confronts outlaws as they come. This story is now being performed in the style of a 1930s radio show and is coming to Nashville Sunday, Jan 9, 2011 from 2:30-4:30pm at the Church of Scientology.

"We're very excited about this," says Rev. Brian Fesler of the Church of Scientology. "This has never been done before, and Nashville is the first US city outside Hollywood to host this performance."

The show is produced by Author Services, Inc. (ASI), the exclusive representative of the literary, theatrical and musical works of L. Ron Hubbard. It is free and open to the public; please RSVP to Julie Forney at 615-687-4600. The Church is at 1130 8th Ave S.
