Lucia and Monroe had a variety of options for the 2012 "Cub Of The Year" as qualified cubs were very interested in the 2012 honor. To qualify you have to date cougars, be successful and attractive. Their options were actors on network TV shows, models, fashion designers, real estate agents and the list goes on. After reviewing all nominees and much thought they have chosen Carlos Mendez who is the brother of A-List movie star Eva Mendes.

He is a working actor and a strong individual. I feel good about passing the torch to him. I was very strict on who I was going to pick because it's a reflection of myself and Lucia.
