The Nevada Striper has been around since 1979, and has endured many ups and downs through the years. They are very much alive these days with 80 or so members. They participate in many community events such as C.A.S.T(catch a special thrill) for Kids, fishing clinics held by the Division of Wildlife and Free Fishing Day events.
Fund raising is vital to club's like this because they are very busy with community projects, events and the general administration that the club requires. Friends in business and sponsors contributed a good portion of prizes offered for this raffle fundraiser. Proceeds from the raffle will go to help with prizes, club events and trophies for the adult and junior divisions.
Everyone is welcome to participate and join in the fun. For more information about locations and event updates, please visit the club's website. With community and family in mind the Nevada Striper Club is raising the bar for fishing clubs in Southern Nevada.
