Author's Biography:
Anne was born in a war relocation center - Poston , Arizona - during World War II. After the war her family returned to Salinas , California , where she graduated from Salinas High School and Hartnell College . Following degrees received from the University of California at Berkeley and San Jose State University , she worked as a teacher and administrator. Now retired, Ann continues to investigate her personal history and pursue her love of nature in Wild Places: Yosemite National Park and Point Lobos State Natural reserve.
Book Description:
The poems in this book capture the confusion and frustration of the author's search for answers as to how the internment experience impacted her family as well as the welcome relief she finds in her favorite wild places: Yosemite National Park and Point Lobos State natural Reserve.
