Just Announced! The Monterey County Business Council in Monterey will hold 17th Anniversary Gala & Annual Economic Vitality Awards and tickets are on sale.

The Monterey County Business Council, an alliance of business executives and professionals providing collaborative leadership to help people from business, government, education, and the community work together on countywide issues, announced today that tickets are on sale for its 17th Anniversary Gala & Annual Economic Vitality Awards on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel and Spa, 1 Old Golf Course Road in Monterey, CA.
The event will honor seven organizations that have contributed to the economic vitality, growth and preservation of Monterey County through our key industry clusters.
The honorees for 2013 are:
• Agriculture - Christensen & Giannini
• Tourism - Bernardus
• Education & Research - Monterey Peninsula College
• Building & Design - Scudder Roofing Company
• Wellness & Lifestyle - Mee Memorial Hospital
• Creative & Technology - Red Shift Internet Services
• Entrepreneurial Start-Up - Coastal Luxury Management
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner and the awards program at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $175 per person or $1,750 for a host table of 10 seats.
