The Mayton Inn is Excited to Announce its Groundbreaking Ceremony
Downtown Cary's newest boutique hotel, The Mayton Inn, will officially break ground. The project is part of Cary's urban renewal program, which is designed to encourage growth and activity in the heart of Cary. The hotel will provide Cary residents a high-class downtown experience, including dining, pampering and relaxing.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) July 19, 2014 - On August 13, 2014, downtown Cary's newest boutique hotel, The Mayton Inn, will officially break ground. The event will begin at 11:00am at 301 S. Academy Street. Colin and Deanna Crossman, the founders, welcome their new neighbors and fellow business professionals to attend the ceremony.
"The Cary Chamber has long supported the revitalization of the Downtown District. To that end, we see the inclusion of the Mayton Inn as a vital step toward this goal," said Howard Johnson, president of the Cary Chamber of Commerce.
"We are extremely proud to have the opportunity to participate in Downtown Cary's growth," stated Deanna Crossman, proprietor of the Mayton Inn. "We're grateful to have had the ongoing support of the Town of Cary and are appreciative of all they have done to help with this project."
The hotel will provide Cary residents a high-class downtown experience, including dining, pampering and relaxing. The project is part of Cary's urban renewal program, which is designed to encourage growth and activity in the heart of Cary. Named after the historic Mayton home, which is located on the property along with the Waldo House, the inn embraces the preservation of Cary's history. The Waldo House will be restored and used by the Mayton Inn for private events and romantic evenings away.
The hotel was designed by David Arneson of Center Studio Architecture and will be built by Bridgepoint General Contracting. Madge Megliola of Megliola Beal Interior Design is seeing to the fine details of each room with furnishings that are predominately manufactured locally by CCF.
The expected completion date for the project is late spring 2015.
