The Magic Ten: Belfast's Ten Square Named 'Best City Hotel'
One of Belfast's most popular hotels, Ten Square, has been named as the 'Best City Hotel' for 2011 by the Belfast Business Awards.
- (1888PressRelease) May 13, 2011 - One of Belfast's most popular and successful hotels, Ten Square (http://www.tensquare.co.uk/), which is located at Donegall Square South, has been named as 'Best City Hotel' for 2011 by the Belfast Business Awards.
Manager of Ten Square, Kevin Smyth, said: "This is a very exciting time for Ten Square, as we are celebrating our 10th birthday this year and are delighted that even after 10 years and also in a time of economic downturn, we can have our commitment to quality food, service and accommodation still recognised, even after all these years."
He went on to comment: "We continually look to the future in a positive way and develop what is a already very successful business and in turn add to the attractiveness of the city as both a business and tourism destination. The owner of Ten Square has shown his commitment and confidence in the business and in the city of Belfast and we look forward to the further growth and development of the hotel in the coming years as an asset to the city.
"Belfast is now a thriving European destination and Ten Square is proud of the part it has played in that confidence and prosperity. In 2001, Ten Square led the way with the creation of Northern Ireland's first boutique hotel. The interest generated by the opening, in conjunction with the fantastic marketing presence by the Belfast Visitor and Convention Bureau in marketing the city of Belfast, gave rise to a renewed public interest in the city, an interest which has grown beyond all expectations.
"Having begun our ascent on the international visitor destination ladder, we must keep looking up and to the future to ensure Belfast is well positioned to receive and deliver that unique combination of outstanding accommodations and personalised welcome to our future visitors.
"With Ten Square's enviable location, right in the heart of Belfast, we have created an integrated building, combining the historic influences of its linen quarter history with the modern age, to which the public will immediately be drawn. A place to relax, socialise, work and play, Ten Square Hotel is the centrepiece of the city's confidence in its prosperity and future."
