‘Being kind to yourself, to strangers, to those you love, to the world – every day, at every opportunity – will make you happier and more connected to everything and everyone than you have ever been.’
Prompted by the seeming hopelessness of the world around her, Bernadette Russell undertook a pledge to be kind to a stranger every day for a year. Whether it was baking cakes for neighbours, giving up her seat on public transport, leaving money in books or volunteering at her local charities, the experience left Bernadette with a feeling of wanting to inspire others.
The Little Book of Kindness is packed with fun, practical tips and interactive exercises that encourage you to be kind in every area of life – be it online, to strangers, to the environment, in your community or to yourself – and help to change the world, one act of kindness at a time.
