"The League of Adventurous Women is a non-profit network of women's adventure groups from around the country," said League President Michaelle Scanlon. "The idea is to help all women expand their horizons by making it easy to try something new or challenging. There are a lot of independent groups out there but we believe, The League of Adventurous Women is the first organization to bring them all together."

A woman can use The League's new site to find a group in her area or to get tips on starting a group of her own. Organizations find benefits as well.
