Dana Hill, founder and CEO of COCOTIQUE, personally understood the frustration that African-Americans, Latinas and other diverse ethnicities often have to deal with when searching for beauty products that work for their diverse skin tones and hair textures. Armed with the knowledge that women of color spend 80% more on cosmetics and twice as much on skin care products than other demographics because of the difficulties in finding products that work for their specific beauty needs, she created COCOTIQUE.

COCOTIQUE is a deluxe beauty box subscription company for women of color and diverse ethnicities founded by CEO, Dana Hill. She honed her skills in the fashion industry as an assistant fashion editor at both Vogue and Harper's Bazaar Magazines, while working on photo shoots with photographers like Mario Testino, Patrick Demarchelier, and Peter Lindbergh. This behind-the-scenes access fueled her passion for beauty, as she watched models getting their hair and makeup done, and gleaned tips and tricks from the best in the beauty business. Before founding her own PR firm, Divine Marketing Group, and a detour into the music business at Arista Records, she headed up the PR and marketing departments at several fashion companies, including Phat Fashions, Rocawear and Eve's clothing line, Fetish. She was instrumental in the launch of the Baby Phat brand, Phat Farm's first fashion show, Rocawear's iconic ad campaign with Naomi Campbell and the brand's first ad campaign shot in Paris.
