The Laser Outlet (CEO: Samuel Lehrer) marks its second year as the largest Sponsor of the Cystic Fibrosis 2011 Dolphin Tournament.
- Albuquerque, NM (1888PressRelease) December 08, 2011 - The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Dolphin Tournament is a family-friendly fishing tournament and fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that is held annually in Fort Lauderdale.
Started in 2010, the dolphin fishing tournament brings togetherpeople and businesses in our community for a common cause - making a difference in the lives of children and adults who have cystic fibrosis - while having fun doing what they love and competing for prizes.
Last year, the tournament raised more than $20,000. This year, our goal is to raise more than $60,000 for cystic fibrosis research.
The Captain's Party on Thursday, June 16, launches the 2011 tournament. It is a great way to meet other participants and to network in a relaxed and comfortable place - The World Famous Shooters Waterfront Café in Ft. Lauderdale.
Saturday, June 18, is a fun-filled day of fishing and a unique Awards Party that is packed with raffle prizes, a silent auction, great food and drinks, and a full day of fun for the kids at Shooters.
The tournament is chaired by a team of passionate individuals committed to giving back to those who participate in and sponsor our event. Each member has a personal interest in helping to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and ensuring that this tournament's popularity continues to grow.
