Emergenza brings its rock festival down under to Sydney, Australia!
- (1888PressRelease) August 09, 2013 - Emergenza is the world's biggest festival for unsigned bands, It travels to more than 150 cities around the world. Emergenza provides only the highest quality most professionally equipped stages.
The bands play 30 minute sets in elimination rounds throughout the season. Bands play at the biggest venues with international reputations. In the first rounds the attending audience democratically selects all the bands going through to the next rounds.
The vote is open to the crowd and they can vote as many times as they like for as many bands as they like. All bands and fans will see the open vote. At the regional and final concerts, bands are judged by a professional panel of judges.
All national winners will move on to the international finals in Germany. The trip and accommodation and local transportation is paid by the Emergenza festival. During the the three day Taubertal Open Air Festival, bands share the bill and the stage with some of the biggest names in rock and have the opportunity to play in front of 3,000 people.
The winning band at the international finals will be crowned the "Best Band in the World." They will also get a full production, a tour and musical instruments. The best musicians will get guitars, drums and other technical material from the festivals sponsors.
Six bands will take to the stage at The Lair @ The Metro; alternative metal band A Gentlemen's Agreement, melodic hard rock band SWAP, post hardcore band Ready For The Fall, reggae band The Protesters, rock band The Drawing Class, alternative rock band Riley Street Parade.
