The Infinity School Celebrates Creativity & Culture This Navaratri
The Infinity School, one of the top schools in Greater Noida West celebrated the amalgam of culture & creativity this Dussehra & Durga Pooja.
- (1888PressRelease) October 17, 2019 - The much-awaited festive season, which began with the commencement of Navratri, is finally here. On the occasion of Durga Puja 2019 this weekend, The Infinity School, one of the top schools in Greater Noida West, organised a range of exciting children’s activities to awaken and encourage cultural awareness. The event took place in the Pandal hosted by Central Noida Pujo Committee in Sector 78 Noida Authority Park.
Following the colourful and enthralling Puspanjali on the eve of Shashti (i.e., 4th October), the school hosted a quiz on ‘Indian Culture & Festivals’ for age group 5 to 10 years. Culture and language are powerful mediums through which children understand, experience & communicate their understanding of religions, human sentiments, and society. The main objective of organising the quiz was to generate awareness on cultural diversity, festivals, and ancient Indian epics, for helping kids understand the underlying message behind celebrating festivals like Dussehra & Diwali.
The enthusiasm and well-preparedness of little participants kept building the momentum for the quiz. The zeal and energy ran high enough to get even the parents and grown-ups present at the venue to participate in the culture trivia. Mothers awaiting the evening Aarti took the opportunity to answer a few questions before the rituals started.
On Saptami (i.e., 5th October), different art & craft activities were organised for different age groups to ignite the creative spirit in children. Young artists below 5 years, showcased their colouring talents by painting Ravana caricature, Rangolis, Mandals, Diyas, and other festive objects in their favourite shades. Simultaneously, children in the age group 6 to 10 years participated in a craft activity. Little hands skilfully crafted Ram, Ravana & Animal puppets using recyclable materials, such as paper, glue, and glitter.
The event ended with happy little ones returning home with their creations and gifts before Dussehra. The school has a lot more planned for Diwali 2019. The Infinity School students will be presenting different dance forms during Dance Mania: an on-campus dancing event dedicated to performing arts, scheduled a few days ahead of Diwali.
