The I'mHalal Search Engine Expands Its Service To More Countries
ImHalal.com has expanded to more countries in the Middle East.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) December 01, 2010 - As of today, the I'mHalal search engine is available in all countries located in the MENA and South East Asia region. With this expansion, I'mHalal is now available in 23 countries, including Indonesia, Pakistan, Malaysia, Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Continuing their path of de-mainstreaming the search industry, I'mHalal improves its search service by exclusively focusing on returning more relevant local results for Muslim Internet Users.
As more and more Muslim Internet Users prefer the I'mHalal search engine over alternative search engines like Yahoo and Google, the company today announced already serving more than 500,000 Internet Users that generate over 60 million search queries a month. With their expansion to more countries, I'mHalal aims to double their user base within two months.
The search engine also reported more details about their search algorithm tweak published today. The update will effectively rank certain "low-profile" websites originated from the MENA and South East Asia region higher in the web results.
For example if a I'mHalal user from Indonesia conducts a search for the term: "technology blog", unlike other search engine - the top hit wouldn't be the popular technology blog TechCrunch.com that writes mostly about Silicon Valley based Internet startups - but blogs like Budiputra.com that blog particularly about the Indonesian technology scene.
