The Hotelmine "City Guide" Contest Is Not Open To Rick Steves or Peter Greenberg
You don't have to be an award-winning reporter or producer to become a Hotelmine City Guide. Your peers will decide that for you!
- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) February 07, 2011 - Hotelmine, a Groups International brand, is launching a search for city guides across the country that will provide insight and information about hotels, restaurants, nightlife, area attractions and other special events in their city that will help fellow Hotelmine Members "know before they go".
"It's not that we don't trust a diverse set of opinions as provided on sites like TripAdvisor", said Chris Wenz, Partner & Co-Founder of Hotelmine, "we just prefer to provide news and information that will be generated from an unbiased and reliable source, our Members."
In order to qualify, a city guide must be a Hotelmine Member (membership is free) and live in one of the following cities; New York City, Washington, D.C., Boston, Orlando, Anaheim, San Francisco, Chicago, San Antonio, San Diego, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Phoenix/Scottsdale, Nashville, Seattle, Denver, Portland, Atlanta, New Orleans and Miami.
"You don't have to have a film crew or high-tech equipment to produce your own show," said Wenz. "What's most important is that a guide generates reliable information and can share that information with fellow Members on a consistent basis."
Prospective city guides can send a short video clip beginning Monday, February 14th to video at hotelmine dot com and tell us why they should be selected as a Hotelmine City Guide. All of the videos will be uploaded to the Hotelmine channel on YouTube where Members will vote on the guide of their choice.
