The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) has created an HKCEC iPhone app, timed to celebrate the venue's 23rd Anniversary on 25 November 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) March 02, 2012 - The app is designed with comprehensive news and information about the HKCEC in three languages: English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
It includes an event calendar with upcoming exhibitions, conferences and special events at the HKCEC. Users can search by date, nature of event or keyword, and instantly add the event to their own iPhone calendar. This feature also gives organisers an additional channel for promoting their events at no extra cost.
Overseas visitors coming to the HKCEC can use the Transportation function to get directions to the HKCEC from Hong Kong International Airport and other key locations.
To download free of charge, iPhone users need to visit the iTunes App Store http://itunes.apple.com/hk/app/hkcec-app/id477386805?mt=8 or scan the QR code (pictured) and go direct to the HKCEC app download page in the iTunes App Store.
The HKCEC app also posts the latest announcements, providing HKCEC users with real-time updates in a convenient form.

The Android version of the HKCEC app is at the development stage and will be launched shortly.
