The new price will start from USD 440 per person per night on triple sharing basis for the Pride of the South itinerary.
The Golden Chariot, South India's own Palace on Wheels takes the guest on two fascinating voyages across destinations in South India. Whereas in the Pride of the South itinerary, the train covers destinations in Karnataka, in the Splendor of the South itinerary the train charts the terrain of three South Indian states during the course of 8 days itinerary.
The itineraries of the Golden Chariot train tour have been meticulously crafted to showcase the amazing diversity, cultural treasure troves and varied wildlife of the Southern States. From World Heritage Sites to the ancient Hindu temples, from forts and palaces to the wildlife reserves, the journey on board this luxury train offer a unique way to explore the enchanting diversity of South India.
The new season of the train will begin from October 2012 and will last till March 2013. Whereas the cost of the entire journey on triple occupancy basis for the Pride of the South itinerary will start from USD 3080 (INR 92,400) per person, the Splendor of the South itinerary will cost USD 3815 (INR 115500).
